2023 Registration is Open

Baseball & Softball Fans

It’s that time of year again…. The Roche-A-Cri Little League Board is happy to announce that registration is open for the 2023 season.

  • Each child will be placed on a team. More information will be forth coming once registration is complete and teams are set.
  • Again this year the board has decided to have both home and away games against other communities for all levels except tee ball. This gives our athletes more competition and should have more fun playing other teams. This will also help our programs better compete at future levels. There will be some traveling involved in order to get to away games. Once registration has ended and the number of teams are determined, player agents and/or coaches will reach out with final schedules. These games will be played on week nights.

The registration fees are $20 for tee ball and $40 for all other divisions.

Baseball practices will start towards the end of April with games beginning mid-May and running through the end of June.

Softball practices will start early May and run through July.

Tee Ball will start late-May and run through June.

Registration is now open for all divisions. You can start using the online service to register your child. Registration will close March 24th. Register as early as possible.

The start of the 2013 season was recognized as the 50th year Roche-A-Cri Little League was a charted little league. In reserching the history of Roche-A-Cri Little, President Brent York met with members that started Roche-A-Cri Little League.

Roche-A-Cri Little League was started by a group of members of the Adams VFW. The first games were played behind the high school (now middle school) and around 1966 a baseball field was built behind the VFW. During this time Tom Sawyer and his wife Claudette were President of Roche-A-Cri Little League. Tom knowing that there was a need for their own baseball park began talking with citizens and realtors trying to find land for a baseball park for the Roche-A-Cri Little League. Tom had met Burt Morris and Burt donated land to the City of Adams to build a park and baseball diamonds for the Roche-A-Cri Little League. The park was fully wooded and an oak tree that still stands by the concession stand was used as a landmark to begin clearing the trees to make way for the baseball diamond. The baseball diamond at Burt Morris Park was officially dedicated in 1978. Since this time Roche-A-Cri Little League has built a concession stand, dugouts, and storage buildings. In recent years the girls softball field, a second baseball diamond were built, and only 3 years ago a T-ball diamond was built.

Thanks to all of the dedicated members of the Adams-Friendship community as well as present and former members of Roche-A-Cri Little League.
